Thoughts…
I’ve been reading so many fanfictions lately that I can hardly recall the name of any of them… Mainly HG/SS fanfictions… And with reading and reading and then some more reading I’ve reached a conclusion: I’m sick an’ tired of the ‘I don’t deserve her’ Severus.
I mean, yes, the man had an awful life and yes, he’d been in love before and that ended up to be the worst disappointment ever, after the one where the love of his life dies because of his own idiotic tendencies – that’s life – but… isn’t that reason enough to fight even more? No more Albus, no more Voldemort, no more promises to fulfill to Lily in my book equals a new chance at life and maybe love…
Eh… at least that’s how I see a ‘surviving the war’ Severus to be… Ready to take on the world – in his special way: scowling and sneering left and right, dripping sarcasm, irony and malice, but willing to have a life after the years he’d lived without one…
